Word processor software “Tibetan“

Dharma Publishing is one of the largest distributors of Tibetan literature and is highly committed to the preservation of the Tibetan culture. Comerge implemented the world's first Tibetan text processing software for Dharma Publishing. One of the challenges when developing this software was handling the characters in the Tibetan literary language, as some of the characters are unique to Tibetan. Our resulting product also makes it possible to translate Tibetan into Pali and Sanskrit. Furthermore, it can display multiple texts in parallel and thus supports translation and interpretation.
